A documentary series that chronicles the rise and fall of Vancouver's first roller derby team
The Wheel Deal is a 7-episode documentary series about Terminal City, Vancouver's first roller derby team. Terminal City Roller Derby used to be one of the top teams in the world. But in 2023, the Vancouver-based league almost collapsed. Now the league is back in a big way, and is playing their first competitive season in five years. This series follows Terminal City and the unique array of people in it — as they figure out who they are as individuals, and as a team.
